Can I install your themes on my WordPress.com hosted site?
Unfortunately no, all of our themes can only be installed on your own self-hosted WordPress site.
What Does the Install + Demo Setup Include?
Our installation service includes everything you need to get your site set up just like the theme’s demo site. This includes:
- Upload and activation of the purchased WordPress theme, as well as framework and/or child theme
- Installation and activation of all recommended plugins
- Import of all demo content, including pages, posts, and photos (please note that images are not a part of theme)
- The configuration of the website to match the look and appearance of the theme’s respective demo site.
Note: It’s a one time process
I already have a Live Website or Blog, Can you Install the Theme for me there?
Our installation service is only available for new installations of WordPress.org. If you already have a live website and worked with WordPress before, you should be able to comfortably manage the installation on your own 🙂
Is this a one time fee or Yearly?
The purchase of a premium theme is one time. A premium theme purchase includes theme license and immediate access to all new version updates and features released for your theme for one year.
You would need to renew your theme license to get access to updates and support after a year. The theme license renewal will be 30% off on the Theme price. But, this is optional. If you don’t want to receive support and updates after one year, you don’t need to renew the theme license.
This model is the best way we can provide world-class support, maintain themes and add requested features and enhancements. After one-year mark, you can continue using the theme without license renewal, but you will no longer have access to support and updates
Can I use a Scissorthemes theme on more than one domain?
A premium theme purchase includes single domain license that you can use on one domain for updates and the license also grants you the immediate access to all new version updates and features released for your theme for one year.
You have to purchase the other product variant to use a single theme on more than a website.
What if I don’t want to renew, can I still use the theme?
Yes! You can still use your themes that you’ve purchased and your theme will remain functional at the latest version that you have. However, you will no longer have access to theme updates, any file downloads, or support.
What is the advantage of renewal?
You can get your queries answered, constant updates to the theme which may include new features, bug fixes, security patches and improvements.
What is covered under support?
We will help you with any issues you have with the setup, configuration, and use of the theme. Will will resolve any bugs that you may stumble upon in a timely manner and suggest solutions to any specific problems you may face.
What Our Support Doesn’t Cover?
We don’t offer support for third-party themes, scripts or plugins. If you’re having an issue with a third-party product, then we recommend you to contact the product author for the support.
Can I use e-commerce plugins with your themes?
You can install e-commerce plugins, however, our themes are not specifically built for e-commerce plugins, such as WooComerce, and we cannot guarantee that they will be fully compatible. We cannot offer support for any third-party e-commerce plugins that you install.
How do I upgrade the theme or download the latest version?
If an update available, a notification will appear on your Dashboard. You can then log into your Scissor theme account at https://www.scissorthemes.com/my-account/ and download the latest version.
